That's right, the Nashville based country band is making its way to West Virgenoree to sing their songs to the lovely crowd of faithful fans (after all these years) at the "Carriage House" (formerly known as "Big Country"). If you're from around these parts, I'm sure you know the clientele that congregates at this truck stop tavern (still referred to by the locals as Big Country).
Just another trucker, just another under age in-bred trying to sneak his way in, just another restless housewife, just another redneck, just another small town on a Friday night.
So my friends, you can all rest assured that Enoree only brings the finest in classic country entertainment and you can only find it at the Carriage House. Tickets are only $20--hurry, get yours now before they SELL OUT!

Please listen to their version of "Good ole Boy /Gettin Tough" (leave it to Steve Earle guys)
What's happening to the backcountry? It's just another version of the Kentucky Headhunters or even worse the Gatlin Brothers.
Come one, come all....come all ye of Baptist faith and drink ye fill of the backcountry pride.
Yeah, I like my women just a little on the trashy side!
ohhh, THAT'S the song! duuhhh. completely forgot about that one! we should get front row seats!
ReplyDeletetake it from me, a res studio of dance veteran! we never danced to confederate railroad, instead we kept it light, twisting our frilly patchwork quilt and lace skirts to renditions from Bonanza (which was actually fun, and took us to nationals, twice) and once, the song (a personal favorite when i feel the need to purge) "I'm Walkin On Sunshine" (ooh ohh, and doesn't it feel good! all right now!)
ReplyDeleteOH RARRGH! hahahahah
