2006

Two roosters living in the year of the dog.

We rang in 2006 with a toast at Dale & Mitch's and spent the rest of our long holiday counting change and cleaning house.
Thinking back on the past year, I tried to remember where we spent most of our days...

We visited San Antonio for the livestock show and rodeo in February...then waved goodbye to old number 23 in March...spent many weekends in Atlanta...watched Grant pack it all up and move to Wyoming...traveled to the mountains several times for midsummer night escapes...celebrated year 3 in Savannah...welcomed friends and family to our first annual cocktails & conversation soiree...and found our way home again to my 2nd Christmas celebration in my "new-old" home. This year we hope to find ourselves in Florida, next month, for the Master's first trip to see the Mouse. We are going to try our best to visit Grant sometime this summer, and make room for the badlands & Crazyhorse.
