All along the fault line

The bossman's drive to work is finally over for the year. The low last night in Oceanside was 50. We've seen sweaters, ski coats, fur boots, and parkas all huddled together at the bus stop while thinking to ourselves, these guys have got it made. No hard winters in Wyoming, no blizzards in South Dakota, no freezing wind in northern Illinois, and no chains in Colorado. Nope not for these folks, but you'd swear everyone was dressed for the ski slope.

I assume it's fashionable to show off those winter clothes that they never seem to get a chance to wear. Remember, this is SoCal. At least they are happy. I've decided to award California as the friendliest state we've visited so far. (Please exclude Los Angeles).
