Strawberry Moon

Time to reflect on what's left of June. We arrived here on Saint Helena Island the second, and Heith left for Richmond on the third. Dolly and I lived solo on the beach for almost three weeks before we saw him again. Mom did come down for a long weekend visit. Now Heith is finally home and we're due to stay for another two weeks. We've shrimped, crabbed, kayaked, and tanned ourselves. I haven't had to stop for a drawbridge yet. I still don't think we play cards enough. I finally found my ottoman that I've been searching for, for almost a year! Other than that, we really just stay lazy. That's our perfect summer vacation (minus a few cool friends who would really liven things up a bit). On to July!
