Sighting

Yesterday afternoon, the old man and I rambled through the desert at sundown. We usually take the Donk out for an evening stroll and bathroom break while trying to catch what's left of the sunset. I spotted a small black dot in the western sky and mentioned it to Heith, assuming it was a hot air balloon. The longer we stayed out, the closer the dot moved toward us. After a while we could tell it was a blimp, following I-10 toward Phoenix.
It wasn't just a blimp, it was the Goodyear blimp! It was our first sighting, so I did a little blimp dance with no one watching. Judging from the Goodyear website, I think we saw the Spirit of America--no matter, we were excited, as there isn't much to be excited about here in the desert.
