The job's over, so we opted for a day off at Devil's Hopyard State Park here in Connecticut. We caught a few shots of Chapman Falls and some of the last changing leaves. The only colors left are burnt orange and deep red. The weather seems to be holding out for us, which is odd. Anyone who knows about our travels remembers that we carry an incurable hex for weather weirdness. If the snow holds out, we hope to venture north to Salem for a stop at the gallows of the Salem Witch trials and of course, the Salem Witch Museum!
Wish I was there too; it's absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI miss it so much now that we're stuck in Illinois!
